--- Begin Message ---Package: slicer Version: 3.6.0~svn13936-1 Severity: normal First: thanks for packaging slicer! I just opened a DICOM series, browsed through the volume in the 2D slice view. Then I turned on the slices in the 3D view, creating the "3 intersecting planes" view. I was using the mouse to rotate the 3D view for some time (a minute-ish) when suddenly the program crashed. Here's what the console showed: Error returned from vtk/tcl callback: ::LoadVolume::loadVolume0 processEvent vtkObj10112 invalid command name "" while executing "$this parseDICOMHeader $f header" (method "::LoadVolume::parseDICOMDirectory" body line 52) invoked from within "$this parseDICOMDirectory $dir _dicomTree $includeSubseries" (method "::LoadVolume::processEvent" body line 117) invoked from within "::LoadVolume::loadVolume0 processEvent vtkObj10112" at line number 1 Segmentation fault (core dumped) -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages slicer depends on: ii itcl3 3.4~b1-2 [incr Tcl] OOP extension for Tcl - ii iwidgets4 4.0.1-5 [incr Widgets] Tk-based widget col ii libc6 2.11.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libfreetype6 2.4.2-2 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.5-4 GCC support library ii libgdcm2.0 2.0.16-2 Grassroots DICOM runtime libraries ii libgl1-mesa-glx [ 7.7.1-4 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libinsighttoolkit 3.18.0-4 Image processing toolkit for regis ii libkwwidgets1.0.1 1.0.0~cvs20100630-1 Cross-Platform GUI Toolkit - runti ii libopenigtlink1 1.0.0~svn6270-1 Open IGT Link is a simple network ii libpython2.6 2.6.6-6 Shared Python runtime library (ver ii libslicer3 3.6.0~svn13936-1 software package for visualization ii libstdc++6 4.4.5-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtiff5 4.0.0~beta6-3 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libvtk5.6 5.6.0-2 Visualization Toolkit - A high lev ii python-numpy 1:1.4.1-5 Numerical Python adds a fast array ii slicer-data 3.4.0~svn10438-7 software package for visualization ii tcl-vtk 5.6.0-2 Tcl bindings for VTK ii tcl8.5 8.5.8-2 Tcl (the Tool Command Language) v8 ii tcl8.5-kwwidgets 1.0.0~cvs20090825-4+b3 Cross-Platform GUI Toolkit - TCL/T ii tcllib 1.12-dfsg-2 the Standard Tcl Library slicer recommends no packages. slicer suggests no packages. -- no debconf information

--- Begin Message ---Version: 3.6.3~svn16592-1+rm slicer was last released with Debian 6.0 (squeeze) in February 2011 and removed from Debian sid/unstable in 2013 (see http://bugs.debian.org/644352 for details on the removal). Since support for squeeze and squeeze-LTS has now ended, I'm closing all the remaining bugs reported against this package. Andreas
