Package: wackamole
Version: 2.0.0-2
When I boot up the computer, sometimes wackamole does not start automatically.
This happens more often on faster computers than in slower ones. I think it´s a
race condition. As a workaround, I tried inserting a sleep before starting the
daemon in the startup init.d script and it seemed to work.
Unfortunately there are no errors logged.
There is no problems when starting the daemon manually, this only happens at
bootup.
I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.0, kernel 2.4.26-1-386 and libc6 2.3.2.ds1-18.
The computer in which this behaviour occurs more often is an AMD Athlon(TM) XP
2200+

wackamole was last released with Debian 6.0 (squeeze) in
February 2011 and removed from Debian sid/unstable later in 2011 (see
http://bugs.debian.org/623391 for details on the removal). Since
support for squeeze and squeeze-LTS has now ended, I'm closing all the
remaining bugs reported against this package.
