Package: wwwoffle
Version: 2.9f-2.2
Severity: grave

This can't just be a coincidental bug in libgcrypt11, libgnutls26, lyxn,
w3m all at the same time. It obviously is a WWWOFFLE bug.

In syslog I see
kernel: [23845.729604] wwwoffled[15387]: segfault at 1ee45974 ip b7589e6c sp
bf8f4654 error 4 in libgcrypt.so.11.6.0[b7539000+7d000]

It happens when I do
$ wwwoffle https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
$ wwwoffle -offline
$ poff
$ wwwoffle-ls https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
DM1DXC+wwzmqA9IEIhJkqQA   16367 Aug 20 11:26 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
$ https_proxy=http://localhost:8080/ lynx -dump https://bugzilla.mozilla.org |
wc
      0       0       0
But when I use w3m instead of lynx, the error moves to

kernel: [24364.305295] wwwoffled[15491]: segfault at bf8f6000 ip b773f94c sp
bf8f46a0 error 6 in libgnutls.so.26.21.1[b7714000+c4000]

Will anything mentioned in /usr/share/doc/wwwoffle/README.https.gz work
as a workaround to enable one to browse HTTPS pages until this bug is
fixed? Other than
$ GET https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/|w3m -T text/html
for now?

Version:

wwwoffle was last released with Debian 6.0 (squeeze) in
February 2011 and removed from Debian sid/unstable later in 2011 (see
 for details on the removal). Since
support for squeeze and squeeze-LTS has now ended, I'm closing all the
remaining bugs reported against this package.
