Package: bsdmainutils
Version: 9.0.10
Severity: normal
In versions up through Jessie, `cal` supported a `-h` option to turn
off highlighting of the current day.
In Stretch, `cal -h` results in a help message.
Because there are likely many scripts that depend on `-h` to suppress
highlighting, removal of this longstanding option should not be done
lightly.
If it is to be removed, another method of suppressing highlighting
should be made available.

There is. For almost all practical purposes please use "ncal -b" instead of
"cal". That'll give you all of ncal's options but produces the output as known
from cal.
