This makes it quite cumbersome to use in an ISP environment. There is a fork on Github which carries that code (and my patch for #703369 as well). It has been working fine here for the last couple of months. I have a local package that has also cleaned the packaging up quite a bit (using the debhelper sequencer), if you are interested I can update it and send it to you.
