Package: mirror
Version: 2.9-52
Severity: normal

Hello Ian,

given the following mirror file:

package=denx
        site=ftp.denx.de
        remote_dir=/pub
        local_dir=denx
        passive_ftp=true
        recursive=true

, mirror creates the directory denx/LinuxPPC/usr/src/RTAI, mirrors it,
and complains afterwards:

package=denx ftp.denx.de:/pub -> denx
No files to transfer
rmdir( LinuxPPC/usr/src/RTAI ) before symlink failed: Directory not empty

I'm running mirror on a sarge system with patch 2.5.9-2 and perl 5.8.4-8.

With kind regards,
Baurzhan.

No problem, me either :) .

Nope, see the original bug report -- there have been no communication
failures reported.

This used to be drwxr-xr-x in my case, and all contents of ../../../RTAI
were downloaded twice.

However, I can't reproduce the problem any more, mirror works correctly
for me right now. I'll open a new bug if I'm able to reproduce it.

Thanks for your support!
