Package: mysql-server-5.6
Version: 5.6.25-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

I'm getting the following messages in syslog:

  [..] mysqld_safe Can't log to error log and syslog at the same time. Remove
all --log-error configuration options for --syslog to take effect.
  [..] mysqld_safe Logging to '/var/log/mysql/error.log'.

After some digging, I found out the error log is set in
/etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld.cnf:

  [...]
  log_error = /var/log/mysql/error.log
  [...]

At the same time, the syslog option is set in
/etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld_safe_syslog.cnf:

  [mysqld_safe]
  syslog

Regards,
Matijs
