When I add a gfxpayload=keep, to keep the settings I've set for the boot menu
(GRUB_GFXMODE=1280x800) my console gets unusable as soon as I start xorg. When
I start xorg, some colored line-pattern fills the console screen hiding
everything. Retruning to a vga=791 kernel line fixes the issue. Sjoerd
