I blanked a DVD+RW disc with Brasero.  Before blanking, the disc worked fine in
that it mounted, I could read the data from the disk, it unmounted, and it
ejected.  After blanking the disc it would not mount or eject.  I had to use a
paper clip to get the disc out.  The following repeats over and over in the
syslog:

Blanking a DVD+RW in k3b works.
