There is no way to make "use custom font" work.
So please increase the default font size for everybody.
It needs to be at least twice as big.
Else users have to bend their body to see each character choice.

Closing as the claim does not make sense.
Most people using ibus have been with the default font size for years without
the need of blending their body or doing harm to their eyes.
