Package: cdparanoia
Version: 3a9.8-11
When trying to rip a CD, I see a segmentation fault.
Linking with electric fence shows that cdparanoia is overrunning its
buffers in buffering_write() at line 1218 of main.c --- readbuf points
to the end of an allocated segment.

Hi,
I'm closing this bug. It is not reproducable, I can verify myself that
cdparanoia works properly on i386, amd64, sparc, sparc64, alpha, hppa,
powerpc and m68k. I don't think that you ran it on an mips, arm or s390,
so I consider the bug as non-existent.
Given the long time ago you reported the bug without further information
from you, please give more information if you reopen the bug: list, at
least, the achitecture, the type of cdrom, the version of your linux
kernel-image you are using.
Regards,
Daniel
