Package: automysqlbackup
Version: 2.6+debian.4-1
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
After testing I realized that the version included in Debian is 2.5,
while the package announces version 2.6.
Can you change the package to indicate that it is version 2.5,
or to pack the latest version?
I am interested in the backup rotation which is better in version 2.6.
Regards,

Hi,
The version in Debian has diverged from upstream over time, and has
numerous things fixed. It's somehow between 2.5 and 2.6, with some
Debian patches. At this point, it would be very difficult to package a
new upstream release. Though the Debian version includes patches which
makes the backup rotation working as one would expect. So the feature
fix you're expecting is really there.
