Package: shotwell
Version: 0.6.1-1+b2
Severity: normal
Dear Sir,
I do not see the use to use shotwell if it does have to import all the time the
pictures.
Sometimes I just want to view some photos without importing them. And then
maybe I want to quickly browse to another folder to view some photos from
there. So there should be a browsing mode, where I can switch fast and easy
between my folders on the drive. Thumbnails should be created on the fly, if I
select a folder in this mode.
I am really waiting for this feature, because there are a lot of photos, which
one don't want to import. For example you want to browse some picture folders
on USB stick from friends.
I hope that you can release soon for DEBIAN STABLE or DEBIAN BACKPORT to STABLE
the newer version with this feature.
Shotwell is light, and looks very great.
Please also allow
[ -d myfolder ] && shotwell myfolder
to work and browse folders.
thank you
yours sincerely
