In Sid the cut man page say "info cut" in Sarge it says "info coreutils
cut", Sarge appears to be correct, so the error was introduced.

Either should be correct. info is screwed up generally (and other bugs are open about the issue) so neither will work in all cases. Hopefully install-info will be fixed someday.
