Package: libdbd-mysql-perl
Version: 4.041-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Whilst performing dist-upgrade of my system, noticed that perl database
support for MySQL went walkies. In attempting to reinstall the
libdbd-mysql-perl package, I was told:

# apt-get install libdbd-mysql-perl
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 libdbd-mysql-perl : Depends: perl-dbdabi-94
Depends: perlapi-5.24.1 but it is not installable
Depends: libdbi-perl but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

This is normal and expected during perl transitions. The rebuilds are
being made and the dependency will be fixed in a few days. See
https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2017/07/msg00003.html

If you are running unstable, it is a good idea to subscribe to
https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/ and/or
