Package: mozilla-firefox
Version: 1.5.dfsg-3
Severity: important
firefox crashes on site:
http://grateful.d.umn.edu/crash.html
the culprit of the crash is a png image that was generated from the perl
GraphViz module. this page renders fine on firefox for MS windows.
console output of the crash:
$ firefox http://grateful.d.umn.edu/crash.html
The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
(Details: serial 2298 error_code 11 request_code 53 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error()
function.)

Not surprising of course :)

mozilla-firefox 1.0.7-1 is the latest version in testing; there is no
firefox in testing, but there is firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-3 in sid.
They are certainly not running recent sid (last 3 months) since it has
firefox (and/or mozilla-firefox) 1.5 and later, only.

This also seems to be fixed in recent versions.
