Package: openvpn
Version: 2.2.1-8
Severity: normal
Hi, I can't find a way for setting up an ip-less openvpn on which make, later,
a dhcp request, eg:
iface tap1 inet dhcp
pre-up openvpn --mktun --dev tap1 > /dev/null
pre-up ifconfig tap1 hw ether `cat /root/.macs/tap1`
post-down openvpn --rmtun --dev tap1 > /dev/null
openvpn mono-tap
I found that putting hook in pre-up.d does the trick and does not break
ifupdown dhcp capabilities.
Thank you, cheers
