Description : SavannahIce is a RoarAudio server using libshout as backend.
SavannahIce is a RoarAudio server using libshout as backend.
It does not require any transcoding and allows every RoarAudio client sending
data to icecast2.
This is mostly useful for people streaming with RoarAudio PlayList Daemon (in
Debian
as src:roarplaylistd) without transcoding. SavannahIce allows such streaming
with virtually
no CPU time used and can be used to replace an existing ices2 setup with a more
powerfull setup.
