Package: gajim
Version: 0.16-1
Severity: important

Ever since upgrading to 0.16, occasionally e.g. when I get back from
a break the GUI is sorta “crashed”: the inside of the window, where
normally is the menu bar and the roster, is all grey. The chat window
is still usable, and the task bar shows unread messages (which I lose
when exiting and restarting gajim, at least for some contacts where
logging is off).

Funnily enough – as the attached screenshot shows – the menu bar
apparently is still working, just not drawn (drawed?) any more.
I did not think to test the roster.

This happens occasionally, but is not reproducible by running the
screen saver and exiting it.

I had this problem in 0.16.x (x <= 8) sometimes, but not anymore in
0.16.11.git*/1.0.0~alpha1.
