Package: gimp
Version: 2.8.16-2.2
Tags: patch

When the gimp packaging was updated from 2.4.7-1 to 2.6.0-1,
02_help-message.patch was dropped without explanation. Ubuntu though
has continued to ship a variant of this patch.

Please consider applying the patch or something similar to it.

I'm attaching the old 2.4.7 version which won't apply cleanly and the
version Ubuntu uses if you want to compare.

While I don't have a problem with referring individuals to
http://docs.gimp.org, it makes sense that we let them know they can
just install the help too.

Thanks,
Jeremy Bicha

Closing this bug for now since I can't imagine reapplying the patch as is.
The message is much less important than before since it now links to the
online version as well.
