Package: xfdesktop4
Version: 4.2.2-1
Severity: normal

When run from xterm, both xfdesktop -menu, and xfdesktop -windowlist
work correctly, while when hot-key bound, only the first one.

How to reproduce:

I've bound the same key combination to simple script:

#!/bin/sh
echo WORKS >/tmp/xf
/usr/bin/xfdesktop -windowlist

and the echo part worked as expected, no windowlist though

later I replaced the echo line:

#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/xfdesktop
/usr/bin/xfdesktop -windowlist

to see -windowlist on the screen (but only after xfdesktop switched
wallpaper...)

More fun, part 1:

#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/xfdesktop -menu
/usr/bin/xfdesktop -windowlist

also works. and shows two menus at once, and:

#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/xfdesktop -windowlist
/usr/bin/xfdesktop -windowlist

shows nothing

More fun, part 2:

I see now, that simple:
/usr/bin/xfdesktop -windowlist
also seems to work, when hotkey is being pressed repeatedly
for a while...

strace' diff betwen workin and nonworking case shows nothing
obvious (to me).
