Package: fvwm
Version: 1:2.5.30.ds-1
Severity: normal
GtkLabels containing "<a href="...">link</a>" do not work. The signal
handler is not called. The link.py scipt [1] doesn't do anything when
the link is clicked (under fvwm). Without a window manager, or under
KDE, or under gnome, it properly prints a message to stdout. This is
somehow connected to fvwm enabling grabs on the window... I found a
similar bug report for compiz, with a fix [2]. I actually encountered
this with systemadm from the systemd package, which is written in
Vala, while the simple example is in Python, but this seems to be
independent of the programming language, just a bad interaction
between gtk and fvwm.
Details: when running under fvwm, clicking on the link causes the
mouse cursor to change from "hand" to "x" (which I have configured for
the root window). When running not under fvwm, clicking on the link
doesn't change the cursor and the signal handler for link-activate is
invoked.

I am unable to reproduce the original issue (the provided script seems
to work as it should) and this is an old bug against an older version
of fvwm. Please reopen if you can reproduce this on the current
version of fvwm.
