Problem description :
Last time I upgraded, gnome-terminal did have a menu item for opening
new tabs (in file/open in new tab .. or something like that, since
english's not my locale).
With the present version, this menu item is no longer present, while the
function can still be found, hidden in the keyboard shortcut table.
Since it hasn't already been reported, I suspect there may be a bug
either with my Locale, or with the (quite old, nowerdays) i386-32
version of the package.
