Dear Maintainer,
Apparently, the command line switches set in the EXTRA variable in
/etc/default/tinc are ignored when running tinc with systemd.
According to README.Debian, "If the variable EXTRA is defined in
/etc/default/tinc, it will be passed on to tinc." However, after setting
EXTRA="-d 3 --mlock --user nobody"
and restarting tinc using `systemctl restart tinc@ad`, tinc still runs
as root and does not print more logging.
My current workaround includes overriding the systemd unit with
`systemctl edit tinc@` and setting the options myself.
To fix this issue, the service file should be extended to read the
environment file and pass $EXTRA to tinc:
