Package: docker.io
Version: 1.13.0~ds1-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I installed docker.io from the testing repository and tried to do
'docker run hellow-world'. It pulls the necessary files but then
fails with a cryptic error message: "No help for topic 'create'"

Any Dockerfile I try to build fails in this way. My box is up to date
dist-upgraded testing. I tried it on another Debian testing box and
got the same result. I then removed docker.io and installed the
Debian package from Docker.com:
https://download.docker.com/linux/debian/dists/stretch/pool/stable/amd64/docker-ce_17.03.1~ce-0~debian-stretch_amd64.deb
Docker now works as intended.

I'm not sure when this problem was fixed but I'm quite confident that it no
longer applies to current version of Docker in "unstable".

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to [email protected],
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
