Dear maintainers,
With a recent upload of devscripts the autopkgtest of devscripts fails
in testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of
devscripts from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from
testing. In tabular form:
pass fail
devscripts from testing 2.18.5
all others from testing from testing
I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. Apart from the
error that causes the failure, I was wondering if due to bug 909719, a
*versioned* *test* dependency on dpkg should be added. Unless the check
is made smart to be insensitive to the change in that bug.
Currently this regression is contributing to the delay of the migration
to testing [1]. Can you please investigate the situation and fix it? If
needed, please change the bug's severity.
