After upgrading some packages I was unable to start Iceweasel. It would
just show these messages on the console and exit:
Error: Platform version '6.0.2' is not compatible with
minVersion >= 6.0
maxVersion <= 6.0
This looks like a xulrunner version number, so I guess the iceweasel
binary couldn't handle this version. The iceweasel package includes
this dependency:
xulrunner-6.0 (>= 6.0-4)
I think this dependency needs to be more strict, to force apt to upgrade
iceweasel at the same time as xulrunner (if iceweasel won't actually be
compatible with the new xulrunner).
(I was able to run iceweasel again after upgrading it.)
