Dear Maintainer,
Asciidoc is currently facing its end of life and I'm working with the different
packages packages that depend on it and their upstream to get its EOL go
smooth.
A patch has been merged by upstream to get rid of it. It would be nice if it
could be cherry-picked inside the current version:

Do you think it's acceptable on your side?
I can push a PR with the quilt patch on Salsa if you are ok with that process.
