Package: laptop-mode-tools
Version: 1.71-2
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
It's working very well. I have a little confusion over hdparm settings,
but I think I figured them out.. *IDLE_TIMEOUT_SECONDS=7200 isn't good,
because hdparm -S 7200 is not valid?
The default /etc/laptop-mode/laptop-mode.conf lists an hdparm module,
under
# List of modules which can be automatically enabled with this setting are:
but it looks like that line can be removed.
I have turned off the polling timers when on ac, with a couple of
scripts, attached. Thank you very much! for maintaining
laptop-mode-tools in debian.

Actually, I just checked the code. The configuration setting there also
honor the "auto" setting.
I just left the user visible/impacting options to be enabled
explicitly.
So we are good there, so I'm closing this bug report as there is no
change required.
