--- Begin Message ---Package: gnomemeeting Version: 0.94.1-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream I use email addresses that contain a "+" (plus character) for subaddressing. According to the RFCs, this is perfectly legal. However, when I give gnomemeeting an email-address with a plus in it, it fails to register at the directory. As far as I could find out, this applies to all directories. Therefore I think that this is likely to be a bug either of gnomemeeting or a design bug of the XDAP protocol used for registering. BTW, Netmeeting refuses to register email addresses containing a plus, which is only very slightly preferable. May be a hint for a protocol problem, though.
