Package: iptables-persistent
Version: 1.0.9
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Since iptables 1.6.2-1.1 was uploaded to unstable on 07 Aug 2018
ip{,6}tables-* have been placed in /usr/sbin/ and not /sbin/ ,
iptables-persistent uses hardcoded "/sbin/ip{,6}tables-restore" in the
netfilter-persistent plugins.d directory which causes
netfilter-persistent to fail upgrade to 1.0.9 as systemd reports failed
jobs.
Please consider using a `which` for ip{,6}tables-* and use those to run
jobs instead, so that the package can cope with current Buster and lower
"/sbin/ip{,6}tables-*" and Sid's "/usr/sbin/ip{,6}tables-*".
Many thanks,
Adrian
