Package: emacs25
Version: 25.2+1-6
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

If
    emacs --daemon

was started from the console, then
the command

   emacsclient SOMEFILE

entered on the console, kills the daemon and exits.

If the daemon was startet under X, then emacsclient works, also under
the console. Also the converse is true: If the daemon was started
from the console, emacsclient works in xterm.

Today things are back to normal.

I updated quite a few testing-packets since yesterday. I do not know, which of them was responsible for the change, sorry.

Seems not to be a bug. Feel free to reopen if necessary.

Regards,
