Package: initscripts
Version: 2.88dsf-18
Severity: normal
Thanks for splitting bootlogd into a separate package!
I noticed though, that after the upgrade I still had the obsolete
conffiles installed:
$ grep bootlogd /var/lib/dpkg/status
/etc/init.d/stop-bootlogd-single 648d8624e708151500c5e299a6005afe obsolete
/etc/init.d/stop-bootlogd 4544c7e1a2d0c713d29424d02faad237 obsolete
/etc/init.d/bootlogd 267ceea04f703171e6c62f506fda3305 obsolete
(listed as belonging to initscripts)
and the following symlinks:
$ ls -la /etc/rc?.d/*bootlogd
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov 30 01:09 /etc/rc2.d/S06stop-bootlogd ->
../init.d/stop-bootlogd
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov 30 01:09 /etc/rc3.d/S06stop-bootlogd ->
../init.d/stop-bootlogd
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov 30 01:09 /etc/rc4.d/S06stop-bootlogd ->
../init.d/stop-bootlogd
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov 30 01:09 /etc/rc5.d/S06stop-bootlogd ->
../init.d/stop-bootlogd
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Nov 11 02:26 /etc/rcS.d/S04bootlogd ->
../init.d/bootlogd
I can't find instruction on the debian wiki [1] for how to move
conffiles properly between packages, but the post from Colin [2], even
if already a bit old, might be helpful.
Cheers,
Michael
