When selecting Ipelets -> Insert Image -> Insert JPEG image with the attached
image, ipe crashes. gdb says only:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

   from /usr/lib/libipe.so.7.0.14

The image was created with Gimp.

I have just tested on current Ipe 7.2.7-3. The "import jpeg" functionality is
no longer an Ipelet, but is an item on the "File" menu. I tested with your
perturbed-plasma.jpg and it now imports just fine.

Closing this bug.
