Source: swi-prolog
Version: 7.4.2+dfsg-1
Severity: important
Justification: fails to build from source

The build of swi-prolog for powerpc (admittedly not a release
architecture) has started failing:

  Running scripts from core
....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Makefile:415:
 recipe for target 'check' failed
  make[2]: *** [check] Terminated
debian/rules:71: recipe for target 'build-arch' failed
  make: *** [build-arch] Terminated
debian/rules:130: recipe for target 'override_dh_auto_test' failed
  make[1]: *** [override_dh_auto_test] Terminated
E: Caught signal ‘Terminated’: terminating immediately
Build killed with signal TERM after 150 minutes of inactivity

I don't know which specific script ran into trouble, but presume
counting the dots would tell you; you may also be able to reproduce
the problem on a porter box.

Could you please take a look?

Thanks!

Hi,

swi-prolog builds successfully on powerpc (and other power
architectures) since 7.6.4+dfsg-1 (2018-01-13). So, closing this bug.

Regards,
Lev Lamberov
