Subject: openjdk-8-jdk: Compile with POSIX 2008 to get millisecond resolution
in file mtime
Bcc: Alexander <alext@smith>

Package: openjdk-8-jdk
Version: 8u131-b11-0ubuntu1.17.04.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Current openjdk doesn't seem to be compiled with flag POSIX 2008,
which seems to disable some features.

I'm not sure of the extent of disabled features, but what I did
notice is that File mtimes as reported by File#lastModified() only
have whole second resolution, which is a problem for me.

Please see
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24804618/get-file-mtime-with-millisecond-resolution-from-java

Would you consider compiling with POSIX 2008 please?

Best regards,

Alexander
