Package: zotero-standalone
Version: 4.0.29.16+dfsg-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Long time listener, first time caller (to bug reports).

I recently switched to Debian, and just finished the installation.
I installed the 'zotero-standalone' package from 'buster'
(I believe, but some packages are coming from 'sid'), and ran it.

The program 'zotero' opens nicely from the terminal with an xorg
display (i3 wm), reporting:

xulrunner not found, trying firefox instead.

I can click on menus and buttons, and menus drop down or buttons
visually "click", but the corresponding action does not take place.

I cannot see any error messages on the console or at the tail of
'dmesg', and so I don't know how to debug this.

I have downloaded and ran Zotero 5 from zotero.org,
and that I can click on.

Please advise if there's any helpful testing / debugging I can do.
Otherwise, this is low priority for me.

Darach
