Package: scsitools
Version: 0.8-1
It would be useful to place scsiinfo in /sbin rather than /usr/sbin so
that it can be used during bootup to help assign device names. One
particularly useful case is invocation via a udev PROGRAM.
As an example, if you're using the new preferred libata (sata) scsi
layer to access your sata drives, then there will be no serial number
published in sysfs, but "scsiinfo -s" can still be used to find it.
Thanks

kernel warnings on latest 2.6.9+ kernels.
Closes: #293964, #345779.

work well with 2.6 kernels. Closes: #289154.
* sraw: Added -v option.
