This is a kind of "meta" bug report to gather information about missing
device support for the adb and fastboot packages. Currently, the only
blocker for LineageOS for recommending the Debian packages over the
Google packages is missing device IDs in the udev rules for devices that
LineageOS supports:

Upstream for the udev rules has recently merged some more USB device
IDs. Plus some other device rules have come via salsa merge requests:
