Hi,
currently unstable has version 1.5.11 and experimental 1.7.0 while
upstream has 1.7.14. I tried 1.7.0 from experimental but even this can
not properly display the new animations. I could quote my German message
inside telegram-desktop when I receive these animations but I wonder
whether this is helpful. It says something like
This message is not supported by your Telegram Desktop version.
Please update via settings or go to https://desktop.telegram.org.
The suggested fix is probably not really helpful. Would you mind
updating telegram-desktop to the latest upstream version. Please
let me know if you need any help in doing so.
