Package: libfreeipmi17
Version: 1.5.7-2
Severity: important

Hi,

libfreeipmi16 depends on freeipmi-common (= 1.4.11-1.1+b1)
libfreeipmi17 depends on freeipmi-common (= 1.5.7-2)

Since you can't co-install two different versions of freeipmi-common, then
you can't co-install libfreeipmi16 and libfreeipmi17. This makes transitions
harder than they should, e.g. users need to upgrade all rdeps at the same
time, and rdeps need to migrate to testing together (I know there aren't many
rdeps, but still). E.g. for the current transition, freeipmi doesn't migrate
to testing because of this.

Please consider making this dependency less restrictive, e.g. depend on

freeipmi-common (>= ${source:Version})

As long as the conf files don't break backwards compat, you'll be fine (and
if that ever happens, you can add some Breaks).

Cheers,
Emilio
