Detection of the 'recurse' argument to keyring_search() was added in
upstream 1.8.4 (final) and is thus included in the openafs-1.8.5-1 in
bullseye and sid.
I'm running a 5.3.0-2 kernel locally with openafs 1.8.5-1 and it works
fine.

Could you say more about why your system claims to be running bullseye+sid
but the report says "buster" ("fails to build on kernel 5.3.0-2 on
buster"). A separate bug for requesting a backport of openafs would be
appropriate, if desired.

Thanks,

Ben
