Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal
Hi,
python-xmlbuilder only has a single reverse (build) dependency in the Debian
Neuro Science team, it's only Python 2, and recieved no support from
upstream since 2011. I tried to convert the package to Python 3, but failed:
this deals with strings and such. I probably could have worked further on
it, but I think it probably is a loss of my time, so I believe it's
preferable for Debian to just remove this package.
If someone from the Neuro science team wants to later-on re-introduce a
Python 3 package for this source package, go ahead, but this will anyway
wait in the NEW queue, so removing this package is still the way to go.
Cheers,
Thomas Goirand (zigo)
