Dear Maintainer,
I have been playing around with Inkscape, trying to incorporate Debian's logo
and name into an custom "Icon" that can be selected from lxqt-panel's Main Menu
Settings.
If I just use Debian's logo, it's nice and large (Ditto with the default LXQt
logo).
If I also include the Debian name in its official font, the combo becomes so
much smaller that I had to increase the panel height quite a bit to be able to
read it,
and it's still really too small.
Lately I have felt guilty about not including LXQt's logo and/or name, so also
added the logo to Debian's logo+text, but things are miniscule, now...
(I also tried removing Debian's name, and just having their logo and LXQt's
logo and name - just as miniscule).
I am using a 49" QHD TV for my monitor, and I've got lots of screen real
estate, but apparently the panel will not use more than x number of pixels of
width, and scales the icon to fit the width, making the height way too small.
I wish that there could be an option that scales (one-to-one) the icon height
to the panel height, and uses whatever width results from the scaling.
I suppose there should be some sort of width limit, based upon how wide the
panel is, and what is already occupying it, but otherwise I would like to be
able to make an icon wider than the current limit - ideally, as wide as I want
to make it...
