timidity package's file is /etc/timidity/timidity.cfg
However, I wouldn't point to this file, since timidity version included
in xmms-midi can't parse its options (opt EFresamp=d ...).
I would make a minimal file, like /etc/timidity/xmms-midi.cfg
with a single line:
source /etc/timidity/freepats.cfg
or just point to freepats.cfg (I haven't tried that last one)
