Package: debian-security-support
Version: 2018.01.29
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
in /usr/share/debian-security-support/check-support-status.hook is su
used. This is a problem, because su starts a full pam-session. Since
many years there is "runuser" in util-linux, built from the source of
su. runuser does the same as su, but without starting a session in pam.
runuser is the equivalent for su in daemons. Using su causes for example
xdg-user-dirs which installs the directories Desktop, Downloads and so
on in /var/lib/debian-security-support. Using runuser instead, all is
working the same as before, but no user-specific xdg-programs are
running.
I have a problem with su, because i have a user-configuration, which
mounts a special fuse-filesystem, and this throws me an error on every
"apt install", which calls debian-security-support und it creates the
xdg-user-dirs.
Please change. I tried it, and it works for me!

is maintained outside Debian.)
* Add nodejs to security-support-ended.deb8 and .deb9.
