Package: duplicity
Version: 0.6.08b-1+b1
Severity: normal
Hi
I'm trying to restore a single file from the backup I created with duplicity
using the --file-to-restore option. However Duplicity reports the file can not
be found in the archive, even though list-current-file shows that the file is
indeed present. I have also verified that the file exists by extracting it
manually with tar.
I have tried this with a few different files and directories in the archive and
all yield the same result.
I have ran duplicity with --verbosity 9 and can see no other error messages or
warnings.
For example:
$ duplicity list-current-files file:///media/Backup/duplicity/orion|grep
avian/dev/femtotype/bin/ft
Thu Aug 4 11:27:47 2011 avian/dev/femtotype/bin/ft
$ duplicity --file-to-restore avian/dev/femtotype/bin/ft
file:///media/Backup/duplicity/orion foo
Local and Remote metadata are synchronized, no sync needed.
Last full backup date: Fri Aug 19 11:39:05 2011
avian/dev/femtotype/bin/ft not found in archive, no files restored.
$ duplicity --file-to-restore ./avian/dev/femtotype/bin/ft
file:///media/Backup/duplicity/orion foo
Local and Remote metadata are synchronized, no sync needed.

../avian/dev/femtotype/bin/ft not found in archive, no files restored.
$ duplicity --file-to-restore /avian/dev/femtotype/bin/ft
file:///media/Backup/duplicity/orion foo
Local and Remote metadata are synchronized, no sync needed.

Thanks for your help
