Package: python3.8
Version: 3.8.2-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Installation of packages depending on samba failed, and when I tried installing
samba itself I got this:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 samba : Depends: python3 (< 3.8) but 3.8.2-1 is to be installed
Depends: python3-samba but it is not going to be installed
Depends: samba-common-bin (= 2:4.11.5+dfsg-1) but it is not going to
be installed
Depends: samba-libs (= 2:4.11.5+dfsg-1) but it is not going to be
installed
Recommends: attr but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: python3-markdown but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: samba-dsdb-modules but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: samba-vfs-modules but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

I installed python3.7 (3.7.6-1), but that didn't fix the problem. I
additionally enabled Testing repositories, to no avail. As a result, I can't
install anything (like mpv, gvfs-backend etc) that requires python3 < 3.8. Not
to mention --fix-broken didn't help, either.

If you don't know how to handle that, you shouldn't install packages from
unstable. Please wait a few days/weeks until things are rebuilt.
