d/copyright doesn't list all license holders and has wrong copyright
for at least some files:
Please convert to machine-readable copyright file and add missing copyrights:
+ Files: * is GPLv2+, e.g. any later version and not just GPL-2
+ Files: debian/* copyright is missing (is that also GPL-2), could you try
contacting previous maintainers and make this clear?
+ Files: js/jQuery/* licenses are missing
+ Files: js/vendor/* licenses are missing
+ Files: templates/plugin/* licenses are missing, see the originals

Then there's a lot of pictures in gfx/, could you please contact
upstream and clarify the licenses for the images there? At least
gfx/images/ looks suspicious, but there are lot of other images all

The result of that was GPL-2+, so the original fix here turned out to be
correct.
(I have no personal interest in this particular issue. I'm just combing
