Dear Maintainer,
maybe this bugreport can be merged with another one from me. On the other hand
maybe it will just make things clearer. So, I read, that initrams-tools had
some important changes. I also heard, that you need a line in grub like
"resume=/dev/sdaX" (whereever your swap partition is).
But in uswsusp.conf I see as resume device an UUID.
This confuses me so, maybe you can answer my questions:
1. In /etc/fstab, do I have to use /dev/sdaX or UUID?
2. In grub, do I have to use resume=/dev/sdaX or resume=UUID?
3. In /etc/uswsusp.conf do I have to use UUID or /dev/sdaX?
4. initramf-update -k -u must always be run, or does it break things?
It is all not quite clear, what to use, as some edits are such and the other
ones are in the other way.
If this is more clear for me, I can test on my system and maybe if I found out,
why it does not resume from swap, it may maybe help for eliminating this bug.
